Start by making your first row of loops as described in “starting“. The number of loops you start with will be determined by the width of your project.
Turn your netting so that the working end of the string is to the left (or to the right if you’re left-handed). Position your mesh stick just below the last loop you made on the first row. Bring your working thread around the mesh stick, starting in front and coming up behind the stick and through the back of the loop above.
Finish making your knot through that loop.
Continue down the row, knotting in each loop, them move to the next row. Repeat until you have the length of netting that you want
